Surgery

The most common type of intervention is by surgery. Following consultation with a specialist, the patient will be assessed by the treatment team and the best treatment option will be decided upon. We are able to undertake the most complex surgery and manage patients through the pre and post surgical experience.

Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy can be administered as a stand-alone treatment or in conjunction with surgery.

Photo Dynamic Therapy (PDT)

Photo Dynamic Therapy is a treatment that involves an interaction between a drug and light usually delivered from a laser. It can be used for early cancers in the head and neck or, with image guidance, it can be used to treat deep-seated, more advanced tumours and is particularly useful when radiotherapy has been given and surgery is not possible.
