Overseas Patients
Harley Street at UCH welcomes patients and their families or carers from overseas.
We are experienced in offering cultural support for our patients and as such have a dedicated International Patient Liaison Officer, Abed Agha.
Abed is available to liaise between the family, the hospitals clinicians and support staff and where applicable the sponsoring embassy or Military/Medical Attach.
Referrals are generally made from the consultant doctor based in the home country to the Harley Street at UCH consultant and when necessary emergency admissions can be arranged promptly.
Our nursing staff follow a cultural awareness programme and will be happy to meet any cultural requirements of our patients. We have Arabic interpreters readily available and when required can make arrangements for interpreters to be available in many other main stream languages.
We understand that our international patients travel with family members or carers, therefore visiting hours are unrestricted. As the Hospital is based in the Centre of London there are many apartments available to rent close by.
